International Martial Arts Weekend at the New K2C Centre at North Point
Coinciding with the opening of our brand new K2C training centre in North Point and a previously arranged visit of our friends from Germany and Manchester, we decided to hold an International Martial Arts Weekend Seminar with a difference.
Instead of concentrating on Karate only we invited instructors from other codes to take a session to demonstrate and explain their art to us.
This type of seminar normally takes months to prepare and as we had only received the keys to the premises, the paint was still wet, never the less we decided it had to be done in two weeks.
It was a daunting task but daunting is what Marlene and Liam Og do best.
Instructors’ were contacted, -------time slots arranged, ------ notices posted -----Game on --
Result ---- Success beyond our wildest expectations.
The weekend was a magical feast of martial arts not only for the spectators but also for everyone who participated whether they were beginners or Black Belts .Based on feedback it is difficult to pick out the most popular session as they were all brilliant and everyone enjoyed and appreciated the quality and diversity on display.
We would like to thank everyone for your support and your enthusiastic participation, your feedback and comments which has been very positive.- keep them coming .
Finally we would offer a big thank you to all the instructors who presented their art in such a thoughtful, relaxed and enjoyable fashion at very short notice.
Thanks for a wonderful weekend to ;
