We held our very first Grading Examination at The K2C Centre on Sunday  May 30^th and it proved to be our most enjoyable and successful grading ever .We were delighted  with the venue as it gave us enough space  to have everyone on the floor together  and we also had plenty of room for spectators . This no doubt added to the atmosphere and helped everyone to give a brilliant performance in front of their parents, relations and friends.

We decided to change the format of the grading this time and put the Pre Black Belts on first, in order to show our newer students the standard they are aiming at .We explained that everyone can reach this standard provided they put in the time and effort. This was a bit of a gamble as we were putting our reputation on the line and would have ended up with egg on our face if they under performed. We needn’t have worried as everyone came up to the line and did themselves and us proud.

The whole grading lasted 2 hours  as scheduled   and we would like to thank everyone for being so attentive and well behaved .( especially the adults )--joke

We were pleased to announce that everyone passed their grade with flying colours and we felt obliged to award a number of double, triple and even one quadruple grade. We don’t easily award double grades but felt we had to acknowledge and reward the effort and progress that these particular students had made in training.
