What is Shotokan Karate?
Shotokan Karate is a Japanese Martial Art, which uses physical exercise and mental discipline to develop character. Classes are made up of a combination of basic technical training (kicks, punches & stances), artistic expression (kata) and sparring (kumite). Cúram de Cara Karate follows a grading syllabus to black belt and beyond and also gives its students access to local, national and international tournaments and seminars. Junior Karate Classes are suitable for age 8+.
Adult classes are run independently which allow a quicker pace and deeper exploration of the philosophies and deeper concepts of Shotokan Karate. Benefits include Increased Fitness, Flexibility and Coordination as well as Improved Self Confidence and self discipline.

How Much does it cost?
A twelve week course costs €90 per person.
Courses usually begin in September, January and April but there is no problem joining in midway (the cost will be adjusting accordingly).
