Instrutor Biography - Teresa Griffin
Sensei Teresa Griffin (4th Dan Shotokan Karate)
As a mother of 2 (at the time), Sensei Teresa Griffin took up karate to share a hobby with her husband. She went on to achieve her first Black Belt in 1979 and subsequently became the first ever Lady All-Ireland Karate Champion. Sensei Teresa now uses her successful tournament career to mentor the up and coming stars with Curam de Cara Academy of Martial Arts. She received her 4th Dan Black Belt in Shotokan Karate in February 2007.
